About the role

Here at Kerry,
we are seeking an experienced Office Administrator on a part time basis (16 hours per week), who combines strong administrative skills with hands-on facility management experience. This role ensures smooth office operations while maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-managed workplace environment.

Successful candidates must be able to manage time effectively and proactively as this is a fast paced, varied role, where no two days are the same!

You will work closely with our Executive Assistant supporting the smooth running of the Staines office.

Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Manage day-to-day office operations
  • Order equipment & resources
  • Liaise with IT
  • Manage complaints

Facility Management

  • Oversee office facilities ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, AV, storage facility
  • Oversee facility service vendors and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Act as the point of contact for ICT or other departments for access and system-related issues.
Qualifications and skills
  • Proven track record as an Office Administrator or Administrative Assistant, with exposure to facility management responsibilities.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in office management systems
  • Facility Management Knowledge:
    Understanding of building operations, maintenance schedules, and vendor management.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Communication:
    Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to troubleshoot operational and facility-related issues effectively.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
