A growing organization is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join its development team in a hands‑on capacity. This role is ideal for a strong full‑stack developer who enjoys building scalable web applications, optimizing backend processes, and collaborating in an Agile environment.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications
- Build and enhance system workflows and user interfaces
- Develop and optimize database queries and backend processes
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment
- Ensure code quality, security standards, and change control best practices
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment initiatives
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database management
- Apply object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and best practices using C#
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and support continuous improvement of development workflows
Utilize continuous integration tools and processes within the software development lifecycle - Manage source code using Git/Subversion and follow structured version control practices
- Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to enhance overall user experience
- Follow robust code management, change control, and documentation procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to security standards and best practices throughout development
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to deliver high-quality, reliable software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies
- 5+ years of professional experience in Microsoft ASP.NET web development
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with:
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- C# / .NET
- ASP.NET MVC & Entity Framework
- Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Microsoft SQL Server (T‑SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
