Job Role: Java Developer

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Duration: 6+ months plus with likely extension

Education/

Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree in Computer Science (Masters degree in Computer Science a plus) with 7 to 8+ years of overall development and 3 to 5+ years of enterprise software experience. Must have excellent verbal communication, written communication, and social interaction skills.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with large distributed applications and building/operating highly available systems.
• Ability to coordinate and lead Software Development activities.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
• Core competencies in Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Strong working knowledge of Spring framework.
• Experience with HTML, JQuery, JSTL, JavaScript, AJAX, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience building web applications for mobile devices.
• Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design, including security implementations.
• Experience with transaction management and persistence using frameworks like JPA and Hibernate.
• Strong data modeling and database programming skills (Oracle database and PL/SQL experience a plus).
• Experience with Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, AEM a plus.
• Familiarity with UNIX systems (system security, administration, scripting) a plus.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networks with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CDNs a plus.
