- Work Location: Service work is performed at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and Repair:
Diagnose and fix issues with commercial dish machines, electric hot water boosters, and commercial washers to ensure optimal performance. - Customer Interaction:
Work closely with Territory Managers to deliver exceptional customer experience, addressing any concerns and providing solutions. - Parts Management:
Identify and order the correct repair parts promptly to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service. - Service Reporting:
Recap each service call with a detailed Customer Service Report (CSR) and review the findings and actions taken with the customer to ensure transparency and satisfaction. - Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers through consistent, high-quality service and communication. - Equipment Installation:
Assist with the installation of new equipment for customers, ensuring proper setup and functionality. - Emergency Response:
Respond quickly and effectively to customer emergency service calls, providing timely solutions to urgent issues. - Travel Requirements:
Travel within the Tri-State area to service customer locations, with some overnight travel required as needed. - Work Schedule:
Full-time position with a competitive hourly rate, company vehicle provided. Overtime is available, and work hours are Monday to Friday, with varying hours depending on service needs.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of field experience in a related role, or a demonstrated strong aptitude for electrical service and repair. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, especially in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to customers and team members. - Professionalism:
Ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, always maintaining a high level of professionalism. - Dependability and Organization:
Highly dependable with a strong organizational skill set. Must be able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in using a variety of hand tools and electrical meters for diagnosing and repairing equipment. Must be skilled in performing repairs using power tools. - Plumbing
Skills:
Experience in general plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. - Technology Savvy:
Comfortable using technology, particularly Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems, to streamline customer processes and enhance interactions. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools. - Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
