Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various multi-family markets and a proven ability to source and convert leasing leads for a diverse range of properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a proactive approach to leasing strategy and outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Actively market and lease residential units across a portfolio of A- to C+ class properties.
  • Develop and execute tailored leasing strategies based on the property class, location, and target renter demographic.
  • Generate, manage, and convert leasing leads through multiple channels, including digital advertising, social media, grassroots marketing, local partnerships, and referral networks.
  • Conduct property tours, both virtual and in-person, providing an exceptional customer service experience to prospective residents.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through consistent follow-up and relationship management.
  • Collaborate closely with property management teams to ensure units are market-ready and leasing goals are met or exceeded.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and community needs to inform marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, prospect interactions, and market insights in the property management system.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of leasing experience in multi-family residential properties, with exposure to A- to C+ class communities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local market conditions and rental trends.
  • Proven ability to generate and convert leasing leads through creative sourcing methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proficient with property management software.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed.
