Join to apply for the Recreational Leader role at Aqua Safe Pool Management, Inc.

Recreational Leader - 6 temporary seasonal Recreational Leader full time positions available. Will provide leadership in recreational facilities by patrolling, monitoring swimming areas, enforcing facilities' rules. Will inspect and maintain cleanliness of pools and will maintain quality of pool water by testing chemical levels and by adding pool water balancing chemicals. Will assist in preparing recreational facilities for inspection by the Health Department.

Will observe activities to prevent and detect hazards, promote safety of pools and surrounding areas and perform routine maintenance activities to the pool, pool equipment and decks. Will use specialized knowledge and skills in CPR, First Aid, personal safety, swimming instruction to ensure safety of patrons. Might assist Recreational Workers in promoting safety at the facilities and perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Worker must demonstrate ability to swim and to stay under water for short periods.
  • Worker must be able to follow directions and perform basic manual labor.
  • No experience required.
  • Worker must possess a CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must either possess a valid Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or obtain upon hiring.
Employment Details

Job is from 04/01/2026 to 09/30/2026. 40 hours per week. Mon-Fri 11am-6pm, Sat 11am-4pm. Hours and Days might vary.

Wage is no less than $21.61 per hour. Overtime is available at $32.42 per hour. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure with the company. Single work week as standard for computing wages. Pay every two weeks. Employer will make all deductions from worker’s paycheck as required by law.

Potential elective deductions for the reasonable cost of housing, utilities, and personal use of a company vehicle may apply. If elective housing is requested by the employee, a $300 refundable deposit is required, along with a $195 non-refundable fee to cover costs associated with renting the apartment, including application fees, background check fees, utility setup fees, and amenity fees. Additionally, a $30 weekly charge applies for utilities, and rent is $175 per week.

For those opting to use a company vehicle for personal purposes, a $50 weekly charge will apply, which includes the cost of gas. The cost of inbound transportation, meals and lodging to the place of employment will be reimbursed to the worker residing outside normal commute distance by completion of 50% of the employment period. Return transportation, meals, lodging will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.

Transportation reimbursement will equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier cost. Daily subsistence paid at $16.28 per day of travel to a maximum of $68 per day with acceptable receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will reimburse worker in first workweek for all visa, processing and border fees.

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
