Cherry Hill Animal Hospital located in Cherry Hill, NJ is searching for a veterinary technician.

We are a 4 full-time and 1 part time doctor, companion animal hospital. Our Fear Free certified clinic combines a community and family feel with state-of-the-art technology. We offer our clients routine wellness and illness care as well as ultrasonography, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, cutting laser, therapeutic cold laser, and behavior medicine.

About You:

* Ability to perform tasks associated with Technician responsibilities (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)

* Quality Medicine. Our team of Doctors and Technicians utilize state of the art equipment to perform advanced techniques providing excellent care and treatment services.

* Supportive environment that will encourage you to be the best technician you can be. We place a high value on continuing education and on-going training. Be ready for opportunities to learn & grow - in-house CE, AtDove, etc. This year we hosted our first annual staff retreat!

* You are committed to outstanding client service, exceptional patient care and really want to make a difference!

* You have an interest in the mental well-being of the pet and using low stress handling techniques and care or excited about learning to practice this way.

* Surgery & anesthesia experience is a HUGE plus!

* Communication and interpersonal dynamics are important! You are open to participating in our culture meetings and committed to actively working on well-being and self care.

Anticipated

Schedule:

* Four 10-hour shifts with some evenings

* One Saturday month

Compensation:

* $17-25/hour (commensurate with experience)
