As a School Clinician, you will work in a school based program located in Cherry Hill, Camden County NJ.

Schedule: Full-time;
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Competencies
  • Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment procedures.
  • Individual and/or family counseling.
  • Clinical writing and typing skills.
  • Proficient in Word and email.
  • Crisis assessment and safety protocol implementation.
  • Independent work within a team setting.
  • Working knowledge of DSM-IV.
Responsibilities
  • Engage and assess consumer strengths and needs.
  • Develop individual service plan to address presenting problems.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy to address identified needs and presenting problems.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other service providers.
  • Advocate for consumers and families within all systems involved (School, CSOC, DCPP).
  • Provide psychoeducation.
  • Provide supportive telephone contact with families as needed.
  • Maintain clinical records.
  • Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports.
  • Attend supervision as required.
  • Attend intra-agency and interagency meetings as required.
  • Maintain required level of service.
  • Develop and facilitate psycho educational groups to school staff, families and youth.
  • Willing to travel throughout Camden County.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree (MA, MS, MSW) in a recognized mental health discipline.
  • If MSW must have LSW/LCSW; LAC/LPC; LMFT.
  • Clinical experience working with individuals and/or families.
