Assembly Operative

RSW are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team in Chepstow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves assembling components and products in a warehouse environment, ensuring that all items meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to detailed specifications and drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
