Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming secondary school in the Monmouthshire area to recruit a Secondary Classroom Manager
. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for Physical Education
, as well as confidence supporting learning across a variety of subjects.
As a Secondary Classroom Manager, you ll step into classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise students during teacher absences, and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. There is a particular opportunity to support PE lessons
, making this a fantastic role for those enthusiastic about sports, fitness, and motivating young people.
Having coaching experience, sports mentoring experience, or a background in working with young people would be a huge advantage and is highly desirable for this position.
You ll play a key part in managing classroom behaviour, keeping students engaged, and ensuring they understand what s expected of them. No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils and gain invaluable experience within a dynamic secondary school setting.

- Experience supporting children or young people
- Patient, proactive, and able to build strong rapport with students
- Confident managing behaviour and adapting to different classrooms
- Supportive of students academic, social, and emotional development
- Familiar with core curriculum subjects
Requirements
Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- At least two professional references covering the past two years
