LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our long-standing client, a large international design and engineering business based within a state-of-the-art facility in Chepstow.

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work within their team to provide general administration support to the Finance department.

Main Purpose of the role

You will work within the financial team to provide comprehensive administrative support function. This is a temporary role, the length of which will be discussed with successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely administration of invoices
  • Monitor incoming emails to the finance inbox and distribute accordingly
  • Organisation and filing of financial paperwork
  • Digitisation of finance records in line with GDPR
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required
General Duties
  • To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic and positive manner

  • Ensure that all activities are exercised in accordance with company policies and procedures (including standard operating, health and safety and HR)

The Person will possess
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in general office administration
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Pro‑active attitude, ability to adapt to situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
Terms

This role will require you to work Monday to Friday (39.50 hours per week), you can work your total required hours between 08:00 – 17:00, client can be flexible if the agreed hours are achieved.
