Deputy Manager – Inventory

The Deputy Manager – Inventory is responsible for effective inventory control, GRN processing, billing coordination, vendor follow-up, return management, monitoring short-expiry and non-moving items, and ensuring accurate stock records across all units.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and control overall inventory
Ensure accurate stock records and system updates
Verify and process GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)
Coordinate billing and ensure billing accuracy
Monitor and manage short-expiry items
Identify and prepare non-moving stock lists
Coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor relationships
Prepare, update, and maintain return lists
Follow up with vendors for returns and obtain credit notes
Ensure timely receipt and posting of credit notes
Follow up with all units regarding stock, returns, and discrepancies
Reduce inventory losses, damages, and wastage
Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, and accounts teams
Prepare inventory, return, and credit note reports
Support audits and compliance requirements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent
Diploma or certification in Inventory / Stores / Materials Management (preferred)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in inventory, stores, or warehouse management
Hands-on experience with GRN processing, billing coordination, and vendor returns
Experience in handling short-expiry and non-moving inventory
Knowledge of credit notes, vendor follow-ups, and inter-unit coordination
Working knowledge of ERP / inventory management systems
Good understanding of audit, compliance, and documentation procedures
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools
