JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operator to   support the manufacturing of high-quality herbal, plant-based nutraceutical and dietary supplement products by executing production activities efficiently and accurately, in strict compliance with SOPs, GMP, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring product safety, consistency, and timely output.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Production Operations
Execute assigned production activities (weighing, blending, granulation, drying, encapsulation, etc.) as per   approved SOPs and batch manufacturing records (BMRs)  .
Handle   herbal powders, plant extracts, and natural ingredients   carefully to prevent contamination, moisture pickup, or degradation.
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring correct settings and process parameters under supervision.
Adhere to production schedules to meet daily and monthly manufacturing targets without compromising quality.
Ensure proper segregation and traceability of   raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products  .
2. Quality, GMP & Compliance
Strictly follow   GMP, SOPs, hygiene practices, and quality standards   applicable to nutraceutical and dietary supplement manufacturing.
Maintain high standards of   personal hygiene, line clearance, and area cleanliness  , especially when handling herbal and plant-based materials.
Identify, document, and immediately report any   process deviations, microbial risks, non-conformances, or equipment malfunctions   to the Production Manager / QA.
Support QA/QC during in-process checks, sampling, and inspections as required.
3. Material Handling & Documentation
Assist in the controlled movement and issuance of   herbal raw materials, plant extracts, intermediates, and finished goods   within the production area.
Accurately record production data including   batch numbers, material consumption, yields, and process observations   in BMRs and logs.
Support inventory control by updating   raw material usage, wastage, and reconciliation records  .
4. Equipment, Cleaning & Safety
Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of production equipment as per   cleaning SOPs   to avoid cross-contamination.
Ensure correct use of   PPE   and compliance with workplace safety guidelines at all times.
Promptly report any   safety hazards, near misses, or incidents   to the Production Manager.
5. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Work collaboratively with   production, QA/QC, warehouse, and maintenance teams   to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparation of products for storage or dispatch, ensuring label accuracy and integrity.
Participate in   training programs   related to GMP, hygiene, herbal material handling, and process improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting practical process or efficiency enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS & Skills
Diploma / Degree in Science, Pharmacy, Food Technology, or related field   preferred.
2–4 years of hands-on experience   in   herbal, plant-based nutraceutical, health supplement, or dietary supplement manufacturing  .
Strong understanding of   GMP, hygiene practices, and handling of herbal raw materials and plant extracts  .
Familiarity with basic production equipment used in nutraceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
High attention to detail, discipline in documentation, and ability to follow SOPs precisely.
Good teamwork, communication skills, and a quality-focused mindset.
Willingness to work in shifts and adhere strictly to production schedules and compliance requirements.
