HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern to support procurement and logistics operations in the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) domain for our EV projects. The role will involve supplier management, commercial negotiations, logistics optimization, and coordination with EMS partners. The intern will gain hands-on experience in building a cost-effective and efficient supply chain for the automotive industry.
What You'll Do
Manage suppliers for electrical and electronic components with complete documentation.
Follow up with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotes, lead time, and MOQ on time.
Negotiate commercial terms, especially for semiconductor and chip components.
Work with EMS partners for price finalization and contract pricing.
Collect and maintain supplier data (quotes, lead times, MOQ, contracts).
Handle logistics operations including customs clearance and import/export documentation.
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies in logistics and sourcing.
Consolidate shipments (e.g., from China) to reduce logistics costs and lead time.
Coordinate with internal teams for BOM release, design changes, and updates.
Ensure proper documentation of all supply chain activities.
Monitor and track supply chain metrics relevant to E&E components.
Communicate fluently with suppliers, logistics partners, and EMS partners.
Perform multitasking across procurement, logistics, and supplier management functions.
Who Can Apply
Pursuing or recently completed
B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Strong understanding of electrical & electronic components and BOMs.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of supply chain metrics, procurement, and logistics basics.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for data handling and reporting.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced EV/automotive environment.
