This vice president–level role focuses on delivering innovative, global supply chain solutions that enhance customer experience, align with cost and risk appetite, and provide competitive advantage. The Supply Chain Delivery Manager will develop and implement strategies across multiple spend categories and geographies, manage key supplier relationships, and optimise supply chain performance while delivering sustainable business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement global supply chain strategies and solutions across multiple spend categories, geographies, and business areas
Shape and execute the management of the supply base, including developing key strategic suppliers and identifying potential new suppliers
Plan and prioritise resources to ensure efficient delivery and management of the supply base in line with objectives
Undertake contract and financial signing authority within delegated levels and regional variations
Build and maintain strong networks across the supply market and other external organisations, including competitors
Implement stakeholder management strategies and deliver excellent supply chain service to internal and external stakeholders
Develop a deep understanding of franchises, functions, and business areas to design and deliver supply chain solutions that meet and challenge their requirements
Drive sustainable improvements in supply chain operations through process optimisation, innovation, and strategic initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
Extensive knowledge of commodity and supply chain markets across multiple categories
Proven track record in leading strategic supplier relationships and contracts to deliver business-critical outcomes
Experience in implementing a variety of supply chain models, including offshore, outsourcing, utility, and make versus buy
Strong understanding of contract law and legal knowledge relevant to supply chain
Experience in cost and financial management, and applying Agile ways of working
Demonstrated ability to apply supply chain skills and techniques to positively disrupt business strategy and outcomes
At least 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
