Senior Associate

We are looking to connect with  legal and compliance professionals  for a  Senior Associate – Legal & Compliance  role with a  boutique investment firm.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance, the Senior Associate will support the legal and compliance functions of the firm and its affiliate entities, managing legal and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions and client-driven requirements.

Legal & Compliance
Periodic review of constitutive and legal documents to ensure alignment with evolving multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and vendor agreements, memoranda, and routine business correspondence
Drafting and responding to legal notices and other ad hoc correspondence
Working knowledge of corporate, securities, foreign investment, FEMA, contract, and property laws
Liaising with auditors, administrators, external legal counsel, and other professional advisors

Key Responsibilities:

Support and manage legal processes for investments, exits, and corporate actions.
Review and finalise transaction documents such as term sheets, shareholder agreements, and convertible instruments.
Liaise with founders, investors, and legal teams to efficiently close deals.
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, securities, and foreign exchange laws.
Preferred Profile:
3-5 years of experience in Corporate Law, M&A, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
Strong knowledge of corporate, securities, and FEMA regulations.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage with multiple stakeholders.
Prior law firm experience; candidates looking to transition in-house are especially encouraged to apply.
