The ideal candidate should have strong language proficiency, cultural understanding, and the ability to convey the original meaning while making the content natural, clear, and engaging for Tamil-speaking audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Translate website content from English to Tamil with high accuracy and quality.
Ensure the translated text maintains the original meaning, tone, and context.
Localize content to suit Tamil-speaking audiences (regional and cultural relevance).
Proofread and edit translations to maintain consistency and clarity.
Work closely with the content and web development team to ensure timely updates.
Review and correct any translation errors, grammar issues, or formatting problems.
Maintain a glossary of terminology for consistent usage across the website.
Ensure SEO-friendly translations where required.

Required Skills

Strong command of English and Tamil (both written and spoken).
Proven experience in translation (website/content translation preferred).
Excellent grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding of Tamil.
Ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple pages.
Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
Basic knowledge of website content structure (HTML/Word Press is a plus but not mandatory).
