Software Quality Engineer II

Essential Functions:

Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test cases.
Execute and maintain automated test suites for API and UI testing.
Perform manual testing as needed to ensure full feature coverage.
Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities within Agile sprints.
Apply AI-driven test generation tools and autonomous agents to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
Implement and maintain AI-powered test agents for:
Automated test creation
Intelligent regression selection
Automation script development
Self-healing automation scripts
Use tools such as Selenium, Web Driver, Postman, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, and Mongo

DB.
Work with Linux, Docker containers, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, Dynamo

DB).
Identify, isolate, document, and track defects through resolution.
Generate test data to validate critical business logic.
Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis.
Replicate production defects in QA environments.
Work closely with Product Owners to meet sprint goals and deadlines.
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Provide feedback on product quality, usability, and process improvements.
Support deployment activities in QA and production environments using automation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of programming experience (Java or other languages).
Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and manual testing
Exposure to AI concepts like prompt engineering or agentic AI, required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Comfortable communicating in a multicultural work environment.
Strong documentation skills with attention to grammar and detail.
