Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with deep expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for enterprise financial systems. This role focuses heavily on ER modeling, ODS/DW design, performance optimization, and source-to-target mappings.
This position is more execution-focused and hands-on in detailed modeling work.

Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Design
Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Develop dimensional models (star/snowflake schemas).
Design highly performant Operational Data Stores (ODS).
Develop near real-time Data Warehouse models.
Conduct reverse and forward engineering.
Create source-to-target mappings and lineage documentation.
Modeling Methodologies
Apply Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault principles.
Develop reusable canonical models.
Maintain modeling standards and documentation.
Database & SQL Expertise
Build optimized physical data structures.
Write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures.
Perform indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
ETL / ELT Collaboration
Work with Matillion, DBT, Snap Logic, Informatica teams.
Support ingestion, transformation, and curation layers.
Optimize high-volume pipelines.
Analytics & Data Preparation
Prepare curated datasets for Risk, Fraud, and Analytics teams.
Support ML-ready datasets (Python knowledge preferred).
Required Experience
10–15+ years of hands-on data modeling experience.
10+ years experience using Erwin (conceptual/logical/physical modeling).
Strong ODS & Data Warehouse modeling experience.
Expert SQL skills (Oracle, Snowflake).
Experience in Financial Services (Banking / Cards / Payments).

Experience with metadata, lineage, and data quality.
