Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for an ERP Implementation & Support Project Manager located in Chennai . Key responsibilities include the following:
High-energy, hustler and go-getter who drives aggressive timelines by relentlessly following up with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
Leads end-to-end ERP implementations : planning, execution through go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.
Removes blockers, manages dependencies, and enforces accountability to meet very tight deadlines .
Oversees data migration, integrations, risk mitigation, user adoption, and change management.
Runs war rooms, daily stand-ups, and executive status reporting with clear risk and mitigation plans.
Maintains a strong understanding of overall scope, functionality, and feature completeness to ensure the project stays on track and does not deviate due to gaps or missing capabilities.
Proactively engages and meets CXO and executive stakeholders to resolve escalations, secure decisions, and prevent issues that could derail project timelines.
Ensures post-go-live stability and adherence to L2/L3 support SLAs .
Proven experience managing ERP projects across any major ERP platform; exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.
Thrives under pressure, makes quick decisions even without complete information, and consistently delivers results.
Qualifications
Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, IT & external vendor teams. Should have at least 3-5 years of project management experience preferably for ERP implementation project and should have hands on experience.
Strong understanding and experience with ERP Implementations and post implementation support and stabilization (preferably Oracle EBS or Fusion), at least 1-2 implementations is needed.
Proficient in business process analysis and improvement methodologies, systems integration and data migration.
Excellent Analytical Skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems in complex and dynamic environments.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
Previous experience in supply chain or consulting domains is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
