About the Role
We are seeking an experienced  Automation Tester  with strong expertise in  Selenium and Java  to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, executing test scenarios, performing functional testing, and ensuring high-quality delivery across projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain  test automation scripts  using  Selenium Web Driver with Java .
Perform  functional testing  to validate business requirements and application workflows.
Develop reusable test frameworks and ensure test coverage across modules.
Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and log defects.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QA teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and review activities.
Track and manage defects using  JIRA  and  ALM .
Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

Required Skills & Experience
6–12 years  of hands-on experience in  Automation Testing .
Strong expertise in  Selenium Web Driver ,  Java , and automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit).
Solid understanding of  Functional Testing , SDLC, and STLC.

Experience with  JIRA ,  ALM , or similar test management tools.
Ability to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure high test coverage.
Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.

Good to Have
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
Knowledge of API testing (Rest Assured / Postman).
Experience in cloud-based testing platforms.
