SCM Functional Consultant (Oracle/ERP)

Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced SCM Functional Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle. While we recognize that your primary expertise may lie in O2C, this role will involve working across the broader Supply Chain Management suite. We are looking for professionals ready to apply their deep functional knowledge to assist in the implementation, support, and optimization of SCM modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Advisory: Lead the functional design and configuration of SCM solutions, specifically focusing on the integration between O2C and other supply chain modules.
Solution Mapping: Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and map business processes to ERP functionalities.
Module Integration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow between Order Management, Inventory, and Procurement.
End-to-End Support: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot complex functional issues, and manage system enhancements.
Documentation: Create high-quality functional design documents (FDD), setup documents (BR100), and user training manuals.
Technical
Skills & Experience:
Core Expertise: Strong hands-on experience (6–15 years) in the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle, including Order Management, Shipping, and Advanced Pricing.
Familiarity (Limited Exposure Acceptable): While deep expertise is not required, the candidate should have a working understanding or basic exposure to:
Procure to Pay (P2P) Cycle
Inventory Management
Sourcing
iSupplier
iProcurement / iSupplier Portal
ERP Platforms: Experience in Oracle EBS (R12) or Oracle Cloud (Fusion) SCM is highly preferred.
Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of supply chain business flows and their financial impact.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
