Senior Technical Writer – Agentic AI Platform

About the Role

You will own the end-to-end documentation lifecycle and work closely with AI engineers, product managers, architects, UX, and developer teams. Your work will directly shape how customers and developers understand and adopt our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Ownership & Strategy

- Own the complete documentation lifecycle for the Agentic AI platform
- Define standards, templates, and governance models
- Structure scalable documentation architecture
- Establish best practices for versioning, release notes, and change logs

Technical Documentation

Create and maintain:

- API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Developer guides & SDK documentation
- Integration guides
- Architecture overviews
- Configuration & deployment documentation
- Knowledge base articles
- Release notes

Document AI agent orchestration workflows, model integrations, prompt configurations, and automation logic.

Translate complex AI and system concepts into clear, actionable documentation for technical and semi-technical audiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Engineering, Dev Ops, and Product teams
- Participate in sprint planning and release cycles
- Review feature designs to proactively plan documentation

Process & Continuous Improvement

- Implement documentation tools (Confluence, Markdown, Git-based docs, portals)
- Ensure documentation quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Continuously improve content based on user feedback and product updates

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of technical writing experience (minimum 2 years in SaaS/product companies)
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- SDLC

- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger
- Ability to understand JSON, YAML, and basic Python/JavaScript snippets
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience documenting LLM-based platforms
- Understanding of Agentic AI concepts & orchestration frameworks

- Experience with developer-first documentation models
- Exposure to Docs-as-Code (Git-based workflows)
- Experience supporting enterprise products
