SFCC QA

What you’ll do:

Develop high-quality test plans and execute them to validate business and technical requirements on SFCC
Work closely with development teams to understand system changes and ensure test coverage for new and modified features
Conduct testing prior to UAT releases to ensure readiness for business validation
Coordinate with cross-functional, internal, and external teams to support UAT and release activities
Execute manual tests post-deployment to validate stability and prevent regressions
Lead efforts to design, build, and maintain manual test suites for SFCC
Validate end-to-end eCommerce workflows including catalog, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, orders, and fulfillment
Test integrations with OMS, payment gateways, and third-party services
Log, track, and manage defects with development teams using JIRA
Continuously improve QA processes based on retrospectives and prior release learnings
Generate test reports, metrics, and dashboards for stakeholder communication
Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers
Perform multiple types of testing including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, data validation, and system testing
Communicate status, risks, and issues clearly and regularly to all stakeholders
Escalate and follow up on blocking issues in a timely manner
Proactively adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve quality and efficiency

What we seek in you:
5+ years of experience in Software QA, with strong hands-on experience testing SFCC
Solid understanding of SFCC architecture, Business Manager, and order lifecycle
Strong experience in backend testing and data validation across integrated systems
Hands-on experience testing REST APIs (OCAPI/SCAPI preferred)
Strong experience in functional testing of web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Experience with QA methodologies and best practices in Agile environments
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases
Experience writing test plans, test cases, and executing regression cycles
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple test efforts simultaneously
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership
