Responsibilities
Design & Modeling:
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models (Entity-Relationship Diagrams) to support business needs.
Collaboration:
Work with stakeholders, data architects, and analysts to define requirements.
Database Optimization:
Improve database performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Data Governance:
Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and ensure compliance with naming conventions and standards.
Implementation Support:
Assist developers in translating models into physical databases, including SQL coding and ETL processes.
Maintenance:
Monitor and troubleshoot existing data structures for accuracy.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Technical
Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, and No
SQL
Tools:
Experience with data modeling software such as Erwin Data Modeler, Power Designer , or ER/Studio.
Data Modeling Knowledge:
Expertise in normalization, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and data migration.
Analytical
Skills:
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints.
A bachelor%27s degree in computer science or related field, typically with relevant years of experience in data management or database design.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Graduation/Bachelor's.
