Job Summary:
We are soliciting candidates for an SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant role. As an SAP SD consultant, you will be part of a core team of IT professionals supporting the various subsidiaries and help business stakeholders shape their strategies with technology solution implementations.
You will also take an active role in shaping demand, defining product roadmaps, and strengthening the business relations team you are part of. You come with strong hands-on SAP expertise and sound business knowledge in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements related to Sales, Distribution, Billing, and Logistics processes.
Configure and customize SAP SD module (Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management, etc.).
Support integration with MM, FI/CO, PP, and WM modules.
Perform end-to-end solution design, unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
Provide post-go-live production support and resolve incidents related to SD processes.
Prepare functional specifications for developments (RICEFW objects) and work with ABAP/technical teams for delivery.
Support data migration activities including master data and transactional data.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and prepare process documentation.
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3–5 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant (implementation + support).
Strong knowledge of core SD processes:
Sales order processing (Inquiry, Quotation, Contract, Order)
Pricing procedures (Condition techniques, rebates, discounts)
Delivery processing (Shipping, Picking, Packing, Transportation)
Billing (Invoice, Credit/Debit notes, Account determination)
Credit and Risk Management
Third-Party & Intercompany Sales
Hands-on experience with IDocs, EDI, and Output Determination.
Knowledge of integration with FI (accounting), MM (procurement), and PP (production).
Familiarity with SAP S/4
HANA SD functionalities (Fiori apps, Business Partner, Simplifications).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
At least 1 full project life cycle implementations with SAP SD module as well as in support projects.
As a consultant, you'll often work on multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously, so good multitasking abilities are important.
Experience in Sales and Service cloud (CRM ) module is preferable.
Preferred
Skills:
SAP SD Certification is a plus.
Exposure to SAP SD-LE (Logistics Execution).
Understanding of ATP (Available-to-Promise) and GTS (Global Trade Services).
Knowledge of revenue recognition and variant configuration.
