Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD automation . The role involves designing scalable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring platform reliability, automating deployments, and driving continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Declarative Pipeline).
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications across GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, VPC, and Cloud Functions.
Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD and GCP environments.
Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system reliability and performance.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance across cloud environments.
Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and architectural decisions.
Stay updated on the latest GCP offerings, SRE practices, and Dev Ops trends.
Must-Have Skills
Google Cloud Platform (GCP):
Hands-on experience with compute, networking, and storage services.
Jenkins:
Strong expertise in Declarative Pipeline development & optimization.
CI/CD:
Solid understanding of automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Strong knowledge of SRE principles: automation, scalability, observability, reliability.
Experience with containerization & orchestration:
Docker, Kubernetes (GKE).
Proficiency in scripting languages:
Shell, Python, Groovy.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Exposure to monitoring tools:
Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana.
Familiarity with AWS or multi-cloud environments.
GCP Certifications such as Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer or Cloud Architect.
