Role - Network Support Engineer (Network Routing(LAN Technology)

Aruba switches & wireless
Responsibility:
Deploy, configure, and manage Aruba CX switches (e.g., 6300, 6400 series) using AOS-CX
Maintain and support legacy Aruba switch models (e.g., ,2620, 2920, 2930F, ) using AOS-Switch (AOS-S).
Design, configure, and maintain Aruba CX and legacy switches including VLANs, STP, MSTP, OSPF, BGP, static routing, ACLs, port profiles, VSF/stacking and other Layer 2/3 features.
Configure and optimize VXLAN overlays for campus fabric and access segmentation.
Utilize Aruba Net Edit and Aruba Central and HP iMC monitoring.
Monitor switch performance and proactively address network bottlenecks and outages.
Participate in network design and capacity planning.
Assist in troubleshooting complex network issues in collaboration with other IT teams.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Aruba Mobility Controllers (MM/MC) and Access Points (AP-505, AP-305, AP-515).
Implement and support 802.1X authentication, MAC auth, Captive Portal using Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager.
Analyze and resolve wireless connectivity issues, RF optimization, and roaming problems using tools like Air Wave or Aruba Central.
Ensure end-to-end network performance monitoring and issue resolution (wired and wireless).
Conduct firmware upgrades, configuration audits, and ensure compliance with network standards.
Participate in network design and transformation projects, collaborating with architects and security teams.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for network design, configuration standards, and troubleshooting procedures
Work within change management processes (ITIL) and support incident/problem resolution.
Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.
Proficient in network diagnostics using CLI, Wireshark, SNMP tools, and Air Wave/Aruba Central.
Certifications (Preferred):
Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA)
Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP)
Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional (ACMA/ACMP)
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions with internal teams and vendors.
Proactive and ownership-driven approach in managing the network
