Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
- Build CI-friendly automation that can run as part of the deployment pipeline
- Execute manual test cases for new features, regression, and release validation
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear steps, impact, and priority
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and test scenarios
- Create and maintain test cases, test data, and test documentation
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and QA sign-off for releases
- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
Required Skills and Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Test Automation Engineer
- Strong experience in automation testing with coding in at least one language, for example, JavaScript, Type Script, Java, or Python
- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework, for example, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
- Good understanding of manual testing practices, including functional, regression, and integration testing
- Experience with bug tracking tools and workflows, for example, JIRA
- Familiarity with CI tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and structured problem-solving
Nice to Have
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or automated API test frameworks
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools
- Experience testing React or Next.js-based applications
- Basic understanding of SQL and working with databases during testing
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial technical and experience screening
- Final selection will be based on a direct in-person interview and practical discussion on test scenarios and automation approach

On-site at Elatre office (Perungudi, Chennai)
Experience:
2 to 4 years
Working days:
Monday to Saturday
Shift timing: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
