Job Description:

The Server Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and maintenance of server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role involves leading a team of server administrators, managing operational processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of server administrators and engineers, fostering a culture of reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee daily server operations, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability of all server environments.

• Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards for server management.

• Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to support application deployments and infrastructure changes.

• Monitor system health, identify risks, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.

• SLA management.

• Lead incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting for server-related issues.

• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and managed services contracts.

• PCI/EVM Compliance.

Required

Skills and Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology

• 15 + years' experience related to Infrastructure including 5+ years of experience in server operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong expertise in Server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
