Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a  Network Engineer  with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in  network monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support  of enterprise or service provider networks. This role involves maintaining network performance, availability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage  routers, switches, and firewalls  using network monitoring tools.
Analyze alerts and network performance metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Troubleshoot and resolve  network outages or performance degradation .
Assist with  network configuration changes, upgrades, and patch management .
Maintain accurate documentation of network devices, topologies, and configurations.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes in coordination with teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and escalate issues when required.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:

2–4 years of experience in network operations or engineering.
Strong knowledge of  IP networking, routing (OSPF, BGP), and switching (VLAN, STP) .
Hands-on experience with  network monitoring tools :
Solar Winds, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, HP Open View.
Basic understanding of  firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles .

Experience with  Cisco and Juniper routers/switches  (multi-vendor exposure is a plus).
Ability to troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
Bachelor’s degree in  Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field .
Preferred

Skills:

Experience with  MPLS, SD-WAN, or cloud networking concepts .
Networking certifications:  CCNA, JNCIA , or equivalent.
Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) for automation is a plus.
