Network Engineer L3

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and operations across LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, cloud networking, and voice systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing and switching, security, automation, and cloud networking, with experience in retail or supply chain environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation:  Design, implement, and manage network solutions at both site and estate level, including routing, switching, and wireless LAN/WAN infrastructure.
LAN/WLAN Management:  Configure and support Aruba switching and wireless LAN, including Clearpass and Central management.
Security Management:  Administer and maintain Fortigate and ASA firewalls, proxies, and enforce security policies.
Load Balancing & High Availability:  Configure and maintain F5 load balancers to ensure application reliability and performance.
Routing & Protocols:  Work with BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, and other routing protocols to manage internal and external network connectivity.
Cloud Networking:  Implement and manage AWS and Azure networking solutions including VPCs, transit gateways, and cloud security controls.
Automation & Scripting:  Develop scripts and automation using Python, Power Shell, and APIs to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Voice & Telephony Systems:  Manage Mitel PBX, VOIP, SIP, DCI/NGNs, and telephony systems, integrating with the network infrastructure.
Operational Support &

Collaboration:

Participate in communications room builds, cabling, and maintenance, while working in agile teams and distributed environments.

Preferred Experience:

Large retail, supply chain, or logistics environment.

Experience with network cabling, comms room setup, and hands-on troubleshooting.
Knowledge of service methodologies and principles for operational support.
