Through its skill development initiatives, Sevalaya empowers youth and school dropout students with vocational and life skills training to help them become self-reliant.
Job Summary The Skill Development Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing skill development and life skills training programs for school dropout students. The role includes coordinating with trainers, students, and industry partners to ensure effective training and successful student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage skill development training programs for dropout students.
Organize life skills training sessions to improve students' communication, confidence, and employability.
Work closely with trainers and instructors to schedule classes and monitor training progress.
Track student attendance, performance, and program completion .
Identify industry needs and support job placement or internship opportunities for students.
Conduct student counselling and motivation sessions .
Maintain training records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with other departments for program implementation and improvement .
Ensure the training programs align with NGO objectives and community needs .
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Management, or related field .
Experience in skill development, training coordination, or education sector is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work with youth and underprivileged communities .
Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting .
Preferred Skills Knowledge of vocational training programs .
Experience working in NGO or community development projects .
Student counselling and mentoring skills.
