Roles Responsibilities:
1. Employer Relations: o Develop and maintain relationships with law firms, corporations, government agencies, non-profits, and other potential employers. o Identify and pursue new opportunities for student placements and partnerships. o Organize and host networking events, job fairs, and employer information sessions.
2. Student Placement: o Assist students in identifying suitable career opportunities and prepare them for the job market. o Provide one-on-one career counselling, resume reviews, and mock interview sessions. o Track and report placement statistics and outcomes.
3. Marketing and Promotion: o Create and implement marketing strategies to promote the law school's programs, students, and graduates. o Develop promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content. o Manage the law schools online presence on job boards and professional networks.

Collaboration:
o Work closely with faculty, alumni, and other departments to leverage resources and networks. o Coordinate with the academic advising team to align placement strategies with students' career goals. o Attend relevant industry conferences and events to stay informed about market trends.
5. Administrative Duties: o Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, job postings, and placement outcomes. o Prepare regular reports on placement activities and progress. o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
A JD or background in law is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, or career services, preferably in an educational or legal environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the legal industry or legal education.
• Familiarity with employment trends and opportunities in the legal market.
• Knowledge of career counselling techniques and job placement strategies.
