Job Description – Head of the Department (Catering Technology & Catering Science)

Head of the Department (HOD) – Catering

Principal / Dean / Director

Skills &
Competencies:
Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide faculty and staff.
Effective curriculum design and knowledge of accreditation standards (NAAC / NBA / AICTE / University).
Strong industry network to facilitate internships, placements, and collaborations.
Good administrative and organizational abilities, including budgeting and resource management.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, faculty, and industry partners.
Ability to drive research, innovation, and consultancy projects in the catering and hospitality sector.
Passion for student development and fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualification &
Experience:
Master's Degree in Catering Technology / Hotel Management (PhD preferred).
Minimum 10 years of teaching/industry experience, including at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in academics, research, and industry collaboration.
Salary Package
