Research & Resource Facilitator

• Curate, organize, and maintain a diverse collection of print and digital resources that support all subject areas and IB programmes. Foster a reading culture through book talks, reading challenges, author visits, and literary events.

• Teach and reinforce research skills, referencing, citation, and academic honesty practices across grade levels.

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and co-deliver inquiry-based learning experiences.

• Provide guidance to students and staff in locating, evaluating, and using resources effectively.

• Manage the library budget, acquisitions, cataloguing, and database systems using Destiny Library Management System.

• Integrate digital literacy skills, including safe and ethical use of information and media.

• Promote the use of digital tools and platforms to enhance teaching and learning.

• Create an inclusive and welcoming library environment that caters to varied learning styles and needs.

• Organize and maintain up-to-date records of library holdings and circulation via Destiny.

• Support PYP Exhibition and MYP Personal Project research processes.

• Stay updated on IB curriculum developments, library technologies, and global best practices in school librarianship.
