Accounting Internship

As an 'Accounting Intern' at Santhosh Sridhar & Associates, Chennai, you will get hands-on exposure to real-time accounting, auditing, taxation and financial reporting work. You will work closely with experienced professionals and learn how accounting functions inside a fast-paced finance environment. We are committed to accurate and timely financial services, while providing a supportive and learning-focused workspace for interns.

Your role will involve working with Tally, Zoho Books and MS-Excel, maintaining financial records, preparing reports and assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks. Effective communication and willingness to learn are key - we don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect curiosity, responsibility and a good attitude.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilites Include

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports (Tally/Zoho Books)
Maintain and update accounting records and databases
Prepare invoices, expense sheets & payment records
Support payroll processing and tax documentation
Visit client sites across Chennai when required & schedule meetings
Participate in audits, compliance checks, and finance documentation
Support senior accountants in routine accounting tasks & projects.
