Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key responsibilities include budgeting, analyzing financial data, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in audits. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Invoice Processing
Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance and Audit Processes
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of accounting software
Effective communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional certification such as CPA or CA being a plus
