Role Description
Managing day-to-day financial accounting and bookkeeping activities

* Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of cash/bank balances

* Assisting in the monthly and year-end financial close

* Maintaining and reviewing the general ledger and sub-ledgers

* Conducting ledger reconciliations and resolving variances

* Payroll accounting

* Supporting statutory, internal and tax audits with schedules and documentation

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in  Commerce, Accounting, Finance , or a related discipline
5–10 years of hands-on experience  in financial accounting and bookkeeping roles
Strong working knowledge of  General Ledger, sub-ledgers, and month-end / year-end close processes
Proven experience in bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis
Practical exposure to payroll accounting , including accruals and statutory deductions
Experience in supporting  statutory, internal, and tax audits , with preparation of schedules and audit documentation
Good understanding of  Indian accounting standards (AS / Ind AS)  and applicable tax regulations
Proficiency in  ERP/accounting systems  (Zoho Books / Xero / SAP / Oracle Net Suite or similar)
Strong  Excel skills  (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation workings)
High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
