Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The SME will be responsible for providing in-depth knowledge and expertise in accounting practices, assisting with the development and improvement of accounting processes, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, mentoring team members, troubleshooting complex cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to meet client requirements.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
Experience working with business process outsourcing (BPO) or complex industry-specific accounting tasks
Proficiency in using accounting software and technology platforms relevant to industry needs
Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and analytical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to train and support team members effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CPA, or equivalent certifications preferred)
Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, or other serviced industries is an advantage
