Plumber​/Pipefitter​/Steamfitter Lead

We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position:
Plumber/Pipefitter/Steamfitter Lead.

With buildings covering over 300 acres within the EWU campus this position is vital in providing community orientated, inclusive and well maintained buildings. The primary responsibility of this position is the day to day coordination and scheduling of the plumbing shop maintenance and installation projects.

* Assist in the preparation of estimates and pricing for materials and equipment required for daily work. Contact vendors when needed for cost and delivery schedules. Generate requests for materials and equipment needed to complete maintenance and renovation work.

* Coordinate needed assistance with other shops on service and renovation projects. Work with supervisor and other personnel to facilitate completion of projects.

* Perform journey level plumbing, pipe fitting and steamfitting installation and maintenance as directed.

* This position installs, maintains and repairs water mains, storm sewers, septic tanks, sewage mains and laterals, valves, drains, basins, tubs, faucets, lavatories, sinks, gates, hydrants, water coolers, and dishwashers and associated equipment.

* This position is also responsible for repairing fixtures, performing valve maintenance, cutting and threading pipe, testing back flow assemblies.

* In addition this position is responsible for maintaining water mains, fixtures, sewer lines, valves and septic tanks to determine need for maintenance, cleaning and/or repair.

The salary for this position is $76,808 (minimum) up to $88,800 top salary being offered. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
