Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components. Work to ensure that customer orders are completed within the Repair Group’s standards and procedures.

• Qualified on several units and can work independently.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure.
• Daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
• Ensure data used for maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
• Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Perform necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

High school diploma or GED required. Prefer related college courses, certificate or associate degree. Minimum two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Frequently required to talk or listen.
• Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Works in moderate noise levels.
• Minimal travel required.

$20.00 - $24.00 / hour (actual pay rate will depend on qualifications and experience).
