Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A travel opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support educational institutions in Cheney, WA, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to students across multiple school settings, helping to foster their academic and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
- Assist in the implementation of behavioral interventions and support strategies
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as necessary
- Travel to various schools within the designated region to deliver services effectively
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and interpreting psychological testing results
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse student populations and educational staff
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to different school sites
- Commitment to promoting student success through evidence-based psychological practices
