Job SummaryThe College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University is seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for a full-time Program Coordinator for the School of Psychology based on the Cheney, WA campus. Under general direction, this position coordinates specialized program operations for the Online School of Psychology Programs, the MS Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, and the EdS School Psychology Program, and provides additional support for general School of Psychology operations.
Responsibilities include supporting the Chair and Program Directors, coordinating special projects, training, and providing technical, administrative, and student services support. The position exercises independent judgment relating to students regarding program policies, guidelines, contracts, and procedures; advises students, staff, and the public; engages in recruiting activities; and acts as liaison to local organizations.
The role involves extensive interaction with students, staff, and the public to carry out program activities, and includes coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring program activities to align with program goals. EWU encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds.
Position reports directly to the Chair of the School of Psychology and interfaces with the Director(s) of the Psychology Bellevue Program, the MS Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, and the EdS School Psychology Program. Salary is $44,868 – $51,612
, with placement dependent on education, experience, and skills. Required QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or equivalent AND two (2) years of experience providing complex program support services involving students. Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that supports universal access for students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Position Specific QualificationsTo be considered qualified, you must meet the minimum qualifications defined above and all of the qualifications listed below:
- Strong computer skills with two (2) years of full-time work experience using various software programs and experience in website development and maintenance
- Two (2) years of full-time work experience maintaining both manual and electronic records and files
- Two (2) years of full-time work experience with a high-volume of customer service and contacts (100+ daily), including: communication with a wide variety of customers (agencies, practicum and internship placements, professionals, internal staff, students, and applicants) via verbal, phone, email, and written correspondence
