Overview of the Position:
Assist department manager with handling immediate needs of the business. Provide general office administrative support and coordinate projects and events. Assist in helping the office run smoothly through effective organization and attention to detail. Responsible for the activities relating to handling administrative tasks by performing the following duties.
Hourly Wage Range: $19‑24

- General office support duties such as filing or retrieving paper documents or parts, form processing, maintaining office supplies and equipment, assisting with office documentation as needed.
- Data entry and database maintenance as required.
- Safeguard of proprietary engineering information.
- Follow department procedures.
- Perform any other office duties as directed or may be assigned.
- Must have good typing ability, both speed and accuracy.
- Must possess strong communication skills and be able to interact positively with co‑workers, other departments, suppliers, and customers.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to recognize priorities.
- Highly efficient; strong multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills.
Education / Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two years' related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
