A well-established and growing building maintenance contractor is looking for a skilled Roofer to join their team working on social housing properties across Cheltenham and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of roofing repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing properties. The role requires strong technical ability, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to health and safety standards.

• Diagnosing roofing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Working on pitched and flat roofing systems
• Tile and slate replacement
• Felt, GRP, and other flat roofing repairs
• Guttering, fascia, and soffit repairs/replacements
• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard
• Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations
• Communicating professionally with tenants and colleagues

• Proven experience as a roofer (social housing experience desirable)
• Strong knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant roofing qualifications or NVQ (preferred)
