Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. You’ll be responsible for managing contractual risk, obligations and commercial performance across a defined area of our specialist business unit. This includes ensuring we deliver on our commitments to customers, maintain sustainable and profitable contracts and identify opportunities for growth and renewal. You’ll act as the central point of contact for all contractual and commercial matters within your remit, working closely with customers and internal teams to drive value and long‑term success.

This job role is based in Cheltenham. Hybrid (3 days client site & 2 days remote). Monday‑Friday 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Act as the primary interface for high‑level customer engagements on contractual and commercial topics.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure all aspects of contract delivery are understood, managed and executed effectively.
  • Ensure successful delivery of contractual commitments, meeting cost targets and driving contract profitability and revenue growth.
  • Own the management of contractual obligations, risks and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals and change control processes, ensuring obligations are achievable and commercially sound.

  • Proven experience in contract management or commercial operations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior customers.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex contractual information.
