Nursing Associates work at the heart of multidisciplinary teams, maintaining high standards and working within a team that shares our values. Under the leadership and direction of a Registered Nurse, Nursing Associates support and deliver holistic, person-centred care and contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. It has good transport links, including proximity to the M5 and A417. The hospital has 33 ensuite private bedrooms, 3 theatres and a small ambulatory unit. It also includes a close observation unit, 12 consulting rooms with access to treatment rooms, and diagnostic services including plain x-ray, MRI, CT, mammography and ultrasound.
We provide a full range of medical and surgical specialties delivered in state-of-the-art facilities, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, spinal services, sports injury, ENT, gynaecology, urology, and a rapid access breast clinic.

- To succeed as a Nursing Associate, you will have: completed the Nursing Associate level 5 qualification (Foundation Degree or Level 5 Diploma of Higher Education); be an active NMC registrant on the Nursing Associate register; be a motivated team player in a multidisciplinary and diverse team; enjoy working in a clinical environment that is constantly changing; be professional and caring towards patients, staff and colleagues;
have a flexible approach to duties and hours; commit to continuing professional development.
- Have successfully completed the Nursing Associate level 5 qualification such as a Foundation Degree or Level 5 Diploma of Higher Education.
- Be an active Nursing and Midwifery Council registrant on the Nursing Associate register.
- Enjoy working in a clinical environment that is constantly and rapidly changing.
- Be a professional and caring towards patients, staff and colleagues.
