Assembler​/Assembly Technician

Are you an experienced Electronic Assembler professional looking to join a growing engineering business? Our client who is a manufacturing company in the oil and gas industry, due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a skilled Electronic Assembly Technician with experience in electronic assembly, soldering and interpreting technical drawings, who thrives in a hands‑on, quality‑driven environment.

Location:

Gloucestershire

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components across various production stages.
• Carry out soldering to IPC standards (training available if required).
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain accurate production and build records.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including working within an EPA environment.

• Experience recognising and working with electronic components (e.g. resistors, capacitors).
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Competent with a range of hand tools.
• PC literate with strong attention to detail.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload.
