Due to the location, a valid driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Lab Technician to join a high-performing quality team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You'll play a vital role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards, working closely with production and wider operational teams.

Shift Pattern

Enjoy a structured work-life balance with a 4 shifts on / 4 days off rotation:

2 Day

Shifts:

06:00 - 18:00

2 Night

Shifts:

18:00 - 06:00

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out routine laboratory testing accurately and efficiently

Identifying, managing, and escalating non-compliant materials in line with procedures

Recording test results clearly, accurately, and in the correct systems

Reviewing data and communicating any deviations to production teams

Testing incoming raw materials and logging results

Supporting quality investigations and managing quality concerns

Preparing and processing Certificates of Analysis for outgoing shipments

Ensuring full compliance with testing methods and quality standards

Assisting with quality audits across operational areas

Keeping the laboratory clean and hygienic

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or a similar role

A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work

Confident IT skills for accurate data recording

Knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing techniques

Valid UK driving licence and own transport
